MAP AERO STATIC B9

Introduction Thermal and anti-static polyurethane finish coating for launcher. MAP AERO STATIC B9 is used to withstand the launch pad environment and stresses during launch. These two environments can degrade the launcher’s efficacy and reliability. MAP AERO STATIC B9 thus reduces the risk of corrosion, overheating and static electric discharge due to air friction, on launch. This coating meets various environmental and strategic regulations, but also the quality requirements of EN9100 and space companies. It has a significant number of characterisations, publications and flight references. This coating is “Ground & Flight" rated on many substrates.
Usages MAP AERO STATIC B9 coating has been specially developed to be applied to parts of the launcher consisting of cellular supports such as H 920A cellular foam.
