MASTIC AS

Introduction Thermal and anti-static silicone finish coating for launcher. MASTIC AS is used to withstand the launch pad environment and stresses during launch. These two environments can degrade the launcher’s efficacy and reliability. MASTIC AS thus reduces the risk of corrosion, overheating and static electric discharge due to air friction, on launch. This coating meets various environmental and strategic regulations, but also the quality requirements of EN9100 and space companies. It has a significant number of characterisations, publications and flight references. This coating is “Ground & Flight" rated on many substrates.
Usages MASTIC AS coating is used on several parts of the launcher, especially on parts coated with silicone thermal protection (upper part of the boosters, etc.).

Introduction Low-outgassing, transparent Silicone-2K coating MAPATOX 41-B is a silicone coating designed to help protect satellite substrates from atomic oxygen. This coating is specifically adapted to withstand the aggressions of the space environment and thus guarantee its function over a long service life. This coating meets various environmental and strategic regulations, but also the quality requirements of EN9100 and space companies. It has a significant number of characterisations, publications and flight references.
Usages MAP ATOX 41-B is a silicone varnish used to protect materials that are sensitive to the action of atomic oxygen (Kapton, Mylar, Composites, etc.). MAP ATOX 41-B provides a perfectly transparent optical film and an absence of corrosion in the presence of some components (KOVAR).
