MAPLUB® PF101-c
Introduction | MAPLUB® PF 101-c grease has been specially formulated to meet the constraints imposed on long-life satellite mechanisms. Thus: Its low consistency leads to relatively low torques, especially at low temperatures. The MoS2 it contains protects the surfaces of heavily stressed contacts (major slippage or limited speed). The reactivity of its base oil with metal materials when mechanically stressed can lead to polymerisation of the product and increase friction. It is therefore advisable to carry out service life tests representative of the intended application. However, the use of non-metallic coatings on parts can significantly reduce this phenomenon. Its low vaporisation tendency makes it suitable for various applications operating in particular environments: vacuum equipment (vacuum pumps, etc.), electronics (manufacture of components) and electrical engineering (connections), scientific instrumentation (particle rings, etc.), automotive, aeronautics, nuclear, clean room robots. |
Usages | MAPLUB® PF 101-c is a grease-type lubricant developed for long-life applications under ultra-high vacuum, especially in the space environment, on supports such as: bearings, bearing housings, spherical bearings, gears, Harmonic Drive or Cyclo gears, roller screws, ball screws, slides. |
